Experience & Activities

During his undergraduate programme, he was involved in research as a Research Assistant that led to publications on geomorphological issues and solid waste management. He has also acquired research skills in spatial analyses, geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing (Google Earth Engine, SNAP), Marine Spatial Planning, and Spatial Data Infrastructures. His current MSc research is focused on “Flood monitoring and prediction at Mahaica-Mahaicony-Abary Coastal Area of Guyana: An Integration of Machine Learning and Remote Sensing Approach”. This is in addition to working with Professor Oyedotun in assembling and archiving the necessary coastal datasets for Guyana’s coastal-marine-catchment environment.
